What is your job?

I am a sales advisor at Histoire d’Or. My job is to ensure complete satisfaction for our customers so that each person leaves with a piece of jewelry that suits them perfectly. I also have the privilege of being an Ambassador. My mission involves answering customer questions on the Histoire d’Or website and engaging with a small network of clients with whom I discuss new items and timeless jewelry.

What was your career before joining the THOM Group?

I worked in a chocolate shop before joining Histoire d’Or. When I started in jewelry, my first mission was to satisfy customers in the store and, later, on the website through the Ambassador mission.

Can you tell us about a typical day?

Every day is different in our profession. We have various tasks: after-sales service, ear piercing, sales, restocking jewelry, and arranging displays. Our day is never predetermined; surprises are always in store!

What thrills you about your job?

I love that each day is different, and I enjoy interacting with our customers both in-store and on the website through the Ambassador chat. We are one of the few professions where we accompany our customers through all the happy events in their lives: engagements, weddings, baptisms, birthdays…

Among the 5 values of the Group, which ones resonate with you the most? How do you experience them daily?

Among the 5 values of our group, the one that resonate with me the most is Team Spirit because, for me, the success of a store primarily comes from collaboration between team members, and commitment. When a customer enters the store, I commit to assisting them throughout their search, and I remain available for any questions, requests, or potential inquiries after their visit.

An anecdote?

We had several animals that entered the store during sales (mice, small birds), which caused a bit of panic.

The main qualities to perform your job?

To work in a jewelry store, I believe that the main required qualities are listening and interpersonal skills.

What advice would you give to someone starting out?

The best advice I could give to someone starting out is to be curious. Whenever you have a question, don’t hesitate to inquire because all knowledge will always be useful!
