Reducing our scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions and energy consumption

To secure commitments from all of our stakeholders, both internal and external, across our entire value chain with a view to reducing our scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030 and contributing to the fight against global warming, the Group is prioritising the following objectives:

  • Increasing the share of recycled gold in our jewellery offering
  • Reducing greenhouse gas emissions linked to transport by 30%
  • Reducing energy consumption at our sites (offices, warehouses and shops) by 40% by 2030
  • Only using fully recyclable jewellery boxes and shopping bags.

The Group is committed to the fight against global warming and therefore aims to reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. In 2022, the Group assessed its full carbon footprint, including scope 3, for the first time. This assessment enabled the Group to measure its impact on the environment and the climate and is now a stepping stone to structuring its action plans with the objective of reducing its GHG emissions and energy consumption.

As such, the Group has implemented commitments covering all stakeholders across the entire value chain with the objective of reducing scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions by 30% by 2030 (compared to 2023) and helping to limit global warming.

Through its Sustainability-linked bonds, the Group aims to reduce its scope 1, 2, 3 GHG emissions (in absolute value) by 16% by FY 2027 on a Like-For-Like basis and at constant scope compared to 2023.
